Plans!

Time to reflect!

With the summer holidays in full flow, there's no time to pick up a brush. Frustrated? Yes! But in a way, I think it's good to have a break. I'm enjoying the places we're visiting and my camera never stays at home. There have been so many inspiring views and, although no time to paint, I have time to think. Ideas for next year are forming in my mind, it's so exciting to chase your dreams.

For Somerset Arts Week in September, I'm painting at the A2 Gallery at Wells and ideas are coming to me on light, contrast and tone - but also following my recent Hare paintings, I'm thinking life, movement and energy. So many ideas!

I hope you like this photo from the Gower Peninsula.

  6. Love this painting with the stream that lead straight to the light. Your colors are very emotional and they speaks to the heart.
    Sorry for my poor English.

    Ciao from Italy
